SWBAT to identify different strands of bacteria or viruses that cause potential illness through testing a variety of areas throughout the school that they predict will hold strands of these bacteria or viruses. SWBAT To create a project to determine what infective organisms are in the school building, then map the locations and chart the organisms found. SWBAT develop and deliver formal and informal presentations using appropriate media to engage and inform audiences. SWBAT employ critical thinking skills (e.g., analyze, synthesize, and evaluate) independently and in teams to solve problems and make decisions. Brainstorm common places where pathogens gather
Collect top five areas to create survey to poll outside people
Once data is collected create bar graph or some type of math thing to evaluate top area
Students will collect samples of top areas and examine and determine pathogens
